What is a good stain remover for blood?
I haven't killed anyone but my husband shaves before bed and then leaves tiny blood stains all over the white pillow cases.
Googling around, I found THIS
Anyone tried it, or any better suggestions?

I can normally get it out with normal Vanish. Trick is to wash in cold water-not hot, or it'll set the stain

Sainsburys do a good stain remover, soak your bedding in it before washing and then pop it in the wash with another scoop of it and powder, set your normal cycle and it should come out. The on in the purple tub is for coloureds and the one in the white tub is for whites :)

Damping before wash then sprinkling with salt for a couple of hours should get it out. (Nurse told me).

soak in COLD water

Use Vanish stain stick (the old fashioned soap bar type that requires a bit of elbow grease) - rub it on the stains - with a bit of cold water again

Then (because it is a protein-based stain) you must wash it at a low temperature

I'm not convinced about using salt - I think it sometimes sets the stain further - but I know some people swear by it
