House stinks of Haddock..help!

Cooked smoked haddock last night and now the house stinks of it and I can't get rid of the smell! Does anyone have any smart tricks for getting rid of it?

leave a lemon in the kitchen where the smell is--
cut in half and it will absorb the smell
