getting rid of moths

Hi. I know one foolproof way of killing moth lavae is to freeze clothing items for several days, but i have no idea what to put them in before freezing them - normal freezer bags don't come in large sizes that I can find??

and also would 100% silk scarves be safe to go in the feezer (provided they were in something like a bag) or could the temperature and moisture affect the dye etc? anyone ever tried it on silk items? I have too many to be able to afford to dryclean them all, but a suspected moth infestation to tackle.
