How on earth do you choose a new dishwasher?

Our old dishwasher is apparently dead. Someone came and told us and charged us for the privilege.

So we need to buy a new one. An integrated one.

But I'm floundering. Money is tight in the sense that we can't really afford to get it wrong and have one die really soon.

And we already have an intrusively loud tumble drier in the kitchen so clearly are completely able to make stupid mistakes.

So does anyone have any recommendations? It needs to be integrated unfortunately.

Thank you

Meile or Bosch every time.

Our integrated one broke down and we got the John Lewis one. Not at all noisy, cheap, but not integrated. As long as your every day plates, glasses and cups fit in, that's the main thing.

pigletjohn I like the sound of that layout is it an integrated one or freestanding?

Our new under it has two settings on the top tray, so if you set it to the deepest setting you can still get dinner plates in the bottom tray and the cutlery basket in the top one

freestanding

I don't like integrated.

I prefer free standing too.

My sister says Bosch.

I have listened to her talk about dishwashers for many an hour.

Buy a Bosch.
