Dunnyjo · 18/08/2006 10:44

i will join too!
off to clean kitchen.....

crazydazy · 18/08/2006 10:44

Have cleaned the kitchen just having a little break, am planning on doing upstairs today. Kids are stuck in cos its raining and so they are messing up every room I manage to get tidy

Roll on 3 weeks time where I will be able to tidy up and it will stay clean at least until they get home.

crazydazy · 18/08/2006 10:45

Anyone got any good pointers, when I walked into my kitchen, although I have cleaned it, its just not sparkly enough. I got down and scrubbed the kitchen floor yesterday rather than using a mop and it looked tons cleaner.

Jahan · 18/08/2006 11:21

I've just done my kitchen, bathroom and put a laundry load on

Crazydazy I always scrub the kitchen floor by hand too. The backdoor to the garden is in the kitchen so it can get really filthy. Cleaning cupboard and oven doors and polishing any metal handles etc makes a huge difference too.

The living room next.

Dunnyjo · 25/08/2006 09:23

Goodmorning!
I up up for the motivation. Got loads to do again, bed sheets, bathrroms and floor cleaning!
Cant get myself to move though tut

ishouldbedoingtheironing · 25/08/2006 09:27

okay now i am feeling really guilty will stop putting off and get started !! You guys are great motivators - keep telling me all that youve done so far - i really am off to start the ironing so that my darling family are able to sit at the table tonight which is currently COVERED with the stuff.
By the way does anyone else do this - chuck stuff in the bin rather that ironing and telling yourself that it was past its best anyway.
Or is it only me?
see you all later
