Cleaning a goose down duvet

Before I store my super king duvet for spring I think it could do with a clean.
Google seems to say dry clean/ definitely dont dry clean.
It's too big for my machine but I could take it to the launderette.
Or should I just hang it on the line?

I always take my duvets to the dry cleaners but some of them seem to get washed and others seem to get dry cleaned. They are fine afterwards! Leave it to the professionals.

I'm an ex dry cleaner .. We only wash ed duvets as that's what is best for them. It Should have a label on it that says wash at 4o and do not dry clean . I have never seen one that said dry clean and even if it did I wouldn't . Yucky chemicals on your bed, no way .. Washing is fine. They come up all fluffy .

I take mine to be washed at the local dry cleaners, definitely not dry cleaned as residual fumes could be dangerous.

I've chucked mine in my washing machine a few times on a 40 and it's fine.

Thanks all. I'll take it to the laundrette for a service wash.
