Tedious question about shoe storage...

hallway floor covered in shoes...solution needed...inspiration required...

hallway not wide, not very spacious...

My mum, the neat-freak with the immaculate house, has a lovely settle-type bench in her hallway which has a lift-up seat into which the shoes all go. Her hallway isn't large, but this has a reasonable depth to it, without the bulky width. I covet it every time I visit, it's very pretty to look at, and you would never know it was full of shoes.

I have an "over door shoe holder." Argos do them.

they have the over door tidy'e/shoe holders in home bargains for £2.99 theyre very washable nylony material but are in blue or pink for children..dd's got one for pj's socks etc until she gets her wardrobe..theyre fab!
