How do I get playdoh out the carpet?

Help!

DS & friend had a merry time with his playdoh. Result: Playdoh trodden into landlord's beige carpet.

Try this one - get something solid out of freezer - tub of ice cream or something - wrap in a thin tea towel and freeze the play doh for a minute or two - then scrape gently with a knife. Colour should not stain but a decent spray carpet cleaner should sort any residue
