has anyone successfully removed rust stains????dull I know!

from clothes.My favourite pink linen skirt suddenly has rust stains all down the front aaargh!Have tried rust stain remover but that didn't work.

apparently soaking in vinegar first, and then washing item with oxygen stain remover (live Vanish or oxyclean ect.) might help....

Yep I have!
Terrible rust stains on dd's bedroom curtain ,from rusty old radiator. As soon as the new radiator went in I srubbed the rusty bits with a very juicy lemon and a bit of salt and left in the sun for about half an hour. Then washed normally.Worked amazingly well.
But they were cream coloured cotton curtains. I would be nervous of doing it to anything dark.

scrubbed not srubbed of course!

Oh rust... anyone removed a rust stain from stainless steel?
