Washing vomit (sorry) out with non-bio?

My son vomited milk all over the bed sheets this morning. I stuck them straight in the wash at 95 but only had non-bio.

Is this enough to kill the germs?

Or do I need to buy biological?

I have quite sensitive skin so am reluctant to use bio on sheets. If I do, should I wash them a third time in non-bio to clean off the bio or us that completely excessive?!

Anything over 60 degrees will probably have killed the germs, 95 degrees will have practically sterilised it.

It will be fine. The biological element of bio powders actually ceases to work when the water is too hot. They are designed to be used at 40 degrees or below.

Didn't know that - thanks.

Hessy you can use a bit of napisan (or I think dettol do an anti-bacterial wash now too) if you want to wash poo/vomit off white/light clothes at a lower temperature.
