how do I get shit of my mattress??

so my 9 month old had explosive diorea last night leaked out of his nappy, pajamas, through my bed sheet and on to my mattress.

any ideas apart from get a new one?

Assuming it's just a stain on the fabric cover?

Make a paste with biological washing powder and cover the stain. Leave for a bit, then scrape off and use a very well wrung out cloth to wash away what's left. Hairdryer on the damp patch before it permeates.
