Could I steam it maybe?

I'd also like to know.

I was thinking of taking mine off & out in the garden unrolling it & gently sponging it & rinsing it. It's some sort of synthetic material.

if a stiffened cotton material, you can spend time sponging it, but, honestly, bin.

If it has a vinyl face, sponge gently with WUL.

If you are very lucky, the depth of the roll will be greater than the depth of your window, and you might be able to cut the stained end off and it may still be long enough.

I've got one of those 'magic sponge' things, I'll give it a go with that.

The Magic sponge did a good job, but I had to be careful not to over wet it or I got a water mark.
