time

had a similar question about 12 months ago, tried baby wipes, eucalyptus oil, nothing really shifted it. But it's gone now, so chin up , mustn't grumlbe

Plain old soap and water I used. Over here we've got a Mr Muscle magic eraser which shifts everything. Do you have those in the UK yet???

tillykins · 08/08/2006 00:52

JML magic eraser thingy from Woolworths and Boots is supposed to shift it

Milk helps, some people get on well with perfume and rubbing alcohol, however I found both of these lifted the surface a little.

Time is definitly the best healer IMO! dd3 loves to draw on the sofa whenever my back is turned and dd1 and 2 leave pens out it always dissapears with a bit if time and occasional rubs with leather cleaner!

Well I told my mum (it's her sofa) that time would ware it off as it is on the arm but she wasn't totally convinced. We do have the magic erasers here so maybe give that a try just don't want to lift the surface as then the dirt would get in and really leave a permanant mark.

Thanks girls.

try a tiny bit of acetone nail polish remover - my dds regularly decorate my cream leather!!!

Take out home insurance and give them a call in a few months. They will do everything they can to remove it and if not they will agree to a new one.
