Baking Soda/ Bicarbonate

Hiya...
Im supposed to be cleaning my sink with baking soda, but DH has come back with bicarbonate of soda... whats the difference? Im clueless in this department...

So he finally got back with the wrong stuff! LOL!

you add cream of tartar to baking soda to make bicarb....i think!

LOL, yeah... I dont want to blow up my sink or something...

so if Im right, then they prob arent interchangable for cleaning!

cream of tartar??? isnt that a sauce you have with fish???

Blow up the sink!It will be one less thing to clean!

Honestly, when I read todays job as cleaning the sink I thought "great!"... its a nightmare!

Sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3, or sodium hydrogen carbonate, also known as baking soda, bread soda, or bicarbonate of soda.
Does this help? Seems they are the same thing!

DH wants me to wait 'til after dinner so all the washing up can be done 1st. Dont have a swanky 2 sided one like Flylady though! now... do you fill to the outlet hole, the very top, or right up onto draining board? Hows your sink doing?

I have a dish washer so no washing up for me unless its not dishwasher safe.
I just filled to the outlet hole and tipped some on the draining board.
Mines looking fairly sparkly.Hope i can keep it that way.
