I have shrunk my wool jumper - is it salvageable?

My lovely phase eight very thick wool jumper is 65% wool, 5% cashmere and 30% polyamide.

I washed it on a 40 degrees cotton wash and it has boiled and thickened and shrunk a lot.

Is it past the point of no return? Sad

hmmm...
no promises, but try soaking it in very strong fabric conditioner solution, then stretching it while still wet. It has worked for me sometimes
good luck

Give it to someone small.

It was a size 8 when it started out, so Im not sure who I could offer it to! I will try the fabric softener thing. I cant wear it as it is, so its worth a shot Smile

Turn it into a cosy cushion. X

Oh well. I'm gutted, as it was super warm and I wore it a lot as I could dress it up or down. Lesson learned!
