I am planning to put my 21month DD in the same room as my 4 and a half yr old DS. Does anyone have any ideas for decorating this room in a style not too girly/boyish/babyish?

how about just white/cream walls and primary colours. I got some alphabet stikarounds for ds's room and some checked curtains from mothercare which go nicely.
then we just have a few little ikea stripey rugs in bright colours

Lemon and Apple green.

When I say Apple Green I mean this colour, not the colour of a Granny Smith

mmmm.... keep going not too sure about the ideas so far!!! Don't really know what i'm looking for and if you knew me you'd probably know you're in for months of deliberation!!

Both my DSs rooms are yellow, DS1's room is at the back of the house, doesn't get any direct sunlight, and it is a fairly bright yellow (banana yellow I think it was called), DS2's room is at the front of the house and is painted a more creamy yellow. Neither room is hugely styled/themed but find that both colours are fairly neutral and would go with most colours of bedding etc.
