Cleaning chrome door knobs

Just that really...all of my internal doors have chrome knobs and some of them seem to be losing their shine
What does everyone use to make them sparkle?

we have chrome door handles, and awipe with flash wipes keeps ours shiny

Very small amount of baby oil on kitchen roll does the job!

I just wipe them with a very slightly damp cloth and buff up with a dry one.

Have they lost their shine because they have been rubbed with something abrasive, such as Cif, cream cleaner, or a scouring pad?

wd40 and kitchen roll.
Unless like Pigletjohn says and they have been scratched :(
