How can I deodorise a poo-whiffy upholstered chair.

We have a padded office chair. suspect dc3 pooed himself when he was sitting on it because the seat smells badly of poo. It is not dirty. How can I deodorise it? The seat is not removeable.

If it smells of poo then it is dirty. I'd give it a bloody good sponge down.

You need this!

It was recommended to me on here and now I run around evangelising about it. It's the shit. (Sorry)

Wash with hot soapy water, try and soak up excess water with kitchen roll/towels then sprinkle with bicarb leave then Hoover up. I'd also use an antibacterial spray or steam mop.

Wash with a dilute solution of zoflora-bloody fab stuff for nasty smells.

I couldn't find the Simple Solution spray anywhere, and ended up blasting the chair with febreeze.

Wish I'd waiting a little longer for other answers, because that stuff smells rank. I thought it would be unscented, because fragrance wasn't mentioned anywhere on the packaging. How wrong!

No I'm going to have try the other suggestions to get rid of the reel of the Febreeze!

The smell of febreeze does fade, eventually. We had the lavender one, which was fine, if a little strong. When that ran out i bought what i thought to be an odourless one, how wrong i was. Come back lavender, all is forgiven!

It works though.
