Can you recommend a good, single mattress for a top bunk bed?

There is a lot less choice for shallow mattresses, which you need for a top bunk bed. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Ikea? Tho check sizes as theirs are not uk standard size.

Thanks, but ikea mattresses don't fit standard bed frames. Any more ideas?

No but watching with interest as I need one for DD! I need a 2 foot 6 one as well. All the ones I've seen for bunk beds look most uncomfortable. DD is 12 (the bunk bed was her choice) and needs something supportive.

My dd has an ordinary mattress on her bunkbed, more expensive than the thinner mattress that came with the bed, but it fits fine - the 'bed guards' still stand proud of the mattress.

Can you find a local company who makes them to order? No more expensive then chains. We've been doing it for years. Hotel quality mattresses, made to order in a week or two. None of this '6 weeks' nonsense from the chains. We chose the filling to suit and the cover too.
