Mould on fabric - help!

I've pulled some things from the loft, which in the past has been fine and damp free however this week I've been up and a lot of baby items are covered in mould. I've scrubbed, washed and scrubbed some more.

I've a car seat cover, a M&P beautiful swing chair cover and a play mat all covered

Please tell me what removes this stuff!

I've no idea but I'm bumping because I'm interested in this as our car seat cover also had mould on. The car seat was £350 so I'm gutted and so annoyed at myself!

Have you tried the washing machine or just hand washed? There must be something in Lakeland or somewhere that removes mould.

MrChow I tried soaking in Astonish Oxyclean overnight and it definitely improved things. I then washed with bio and a bit more oxyclean and the marks faded further. I've done it twice now and some of the marks have gone completely, so I'm just going to keep repeating this and hopefully the rest will shift too.

I might also try a soak in Napisan as I think that's supposed to be good.
