Dry erase marker on carpet

Any ideas on how to get it out?

DS2 has just decorated our beige carpet with a lovely blue dry erase marker. I agree it's a prettier colour, but I doubt the landlord will.

Nail varnish remover on a cloth and dab it, don't rub it.
