How long does it take to fill your Dyson?

I usually vacuum with a Miele cylinder but got the old upright Dyson out yesterday whilst attempting a pre Spring clean session.
Was rather surprised and disgusted that I filled the dust cannister with one vacuum of the house (average sized 3 bed semi with carpet throughout upstairs and in 2 rooms downstairs.
Thinking of retiring the Miele as it clearly isn't doing a very good job but need something to vacuum wooden floors (old Dyson upright is only suitable for carpet)

Fuck my fat fingers.

I'll be here for a hand hold after pear. Use the nozzle and do it in sections. It's a very satisfying job. I'm a slattern but do it a least once a month now.

blondiep14 · 02/02/2014 15:12

I'm so going to be hoovering the mattresses tomorrow...

ThePearShapedToad · 02/02/2014 15:38

Yes piglet looked like slightly dirty talcum powder

I thought having a mattress protector that got washed once a week protected the mattress! Whoops.....

ThePearShapedToad · 02/02/2014 15:38

Then come back and tell us so I'm not the only bad one! Grin
