Vicks humidifier

Hi guys, my little man is congested n doc said to get a humidifier, got the Vicks one cos its peadiactric. Prob is that it comes with Vicks vapour sticks that u slot in. Now on the box it says from 0+, for obvi the water, but for the vapour sticks it says on side of the box for 36+, but in the instructions it says for kids over 4.5kg, well my 12 week old is 5.5kg, but 36+ is like 3 yrs old right, confused, yea we are. Anyone got this n know about it? Thanks x

Just use the water vaporising bit and forget adding the scent sticks for such a young baby. Don't use the scent sticks til age 3 (36m).

I use a humidifier for children with coughs - no added decongestent oils or sticks needed - it helps enormously.

I wasn't gonna use them cos he's not got a cold, I just thought for future ref if he did get one could I use it, n the instructions seem odd lol. Been using the saline drops too n after a few days he seems better, plus he's had the odd night sleeping through already so bonus, think its the sound of the humidifier lol x
