Does anyone have a weekly routine?

My son has now just started school full days but comes home for lunch. He has extra needs and I need to be at home incase the school needs me for the time being. This is my first time at home with no children in ten years.
I thought I could get the house tidy and sorted but the days are just flying by. I wondered if I did set things each day if that would make me more organised. Eg full clean in the lounge one day, bedrooms the next.
Does anyone else have a weekly routine that they stick to and does it make you more organised? Thank you

I spent the summer holiday doing one room per week. Now that it's manageable I do have a weekly plan.
Monday - Bathroom
Tuesday - Change bedding
Wednesday - Kitchen
Thursday - Floors and dining room
Friday - Paperwork and living room
Saturday - Garden

Each day I give bathroom and kitchen quick clean and do one load of laundry. I also vacuum downstairs most days.
I do stick to it now that I have set days for things.

I am on ML so not at the moment and have had a major declutter and bought storage. I think I will do Martha Stewart lists when I go back to work. I seem to forget mirrors etc so think it will be better for me to do jobs every week.
