Question about marks on newly painted wall!

Just had my kitchen painted professionally in a lovely matt colour. I wish I had paid for washable paint now! DS has stuck his greasy little fingers on it and I can't get the marks off! Any suggestions?

I don't want to make it worse. I still have the paint. Is it worth just roller ing on a patch? Help!

I bought a tester pot and just touch up, doesn't take long to dry

Would the grease just not show through again?

You could try rubbing with a bit of fairy liquid just a bit then let dry then repaint

aaah.

Matt paint.

Fingers.

If you end up painting it, after cleaning off the grease, I'd use a brush, and brush outwards, feathering out to nothing or there will be a blob.

Stir it a lot, but the colour will not quite match.

When you get fed up, paint it with vinyl silk.

Those magic white sponges might help, try ebay or Amazon. If not they're really handy for all sorts of other stain removal jobs.
Or try some white bread, that's supposed to remove grease.
Then paint over.

I was going to use a roller and roll a small patch.

I hate shiny paint though!

Thankyou.
