Valance for a wooden bed with frame?

I have recently split my DD's bunk beds which are wooden. She is using what was the top bunk so it is quite high off the floor. There is a lot of stuff stored under the bed and though a valance would be good. A nice boxy rather than frilly one. However Can you use them with a framed bed? What about the legs? Any idea?

You can't really they are for divans. Storage boxes?

What about making fabric panels and fixing them with velcro to the inside of the frame and legs? You would see the wooden parts, but they would appear to be framing the inset fabric. Might work!

Could you get a normal one, cut up and re-seam the corners?

Just in case others find this page via a search such as I did I thought I'd share my solution here.

I have a super king oak bed and also store things under it.
Along with my new duvet cover design which is easier to put on, wash and even iron that I am about to release on my web site I am also covering some non duvet cover niggles and a valance for the solid wooden slatted bed is one of them.

I have enough room just up behind the sides and end of the bed to put in the eyes that are used for some net curtain wire that I have pulled quite taught.

And I have made a lovely full valance that I thread on to the wire.
It's flat so easy to iron without any gathers.
Looks really good as the chunky legs still show.
