Washing machine not bubbling up!

Random question...but how bubbly does your washing machine get? I always use mine on a 40 wash and I haven't changed powders or anything but for a while now no bubbles are visible through the door. Is that right? Clothes smell clean when they come out and look cleanish-as much as they can with 2Dc

Mines doesn't get too bubbly either but I don't overload with powder only use 2 shot glasses of fairy powder and comfort and nothing comes out dirty including football kit

Are you overgenerous with fabsoft?

How often do you service wash the machine?

mine doesnt bubble up much at all - didnt think it was supposed to

I don't use fabric softener at all. I do put some soda crystals in due to very hard water. I'm sure my machine used to froth up-that's why I'm confused!
