Which slow cooker?

As part of my NY resolution to be more organised with meals I want to get a slow cooker.
Any recommendations? We are a family of 6 ( me, Dh, 3 teens and a 6 yr old) so need a decent size one.

I have just bought the 4.5litre version of this morphy richards flavour savour for a family of 4.

Its not cheap but it has a browning setting and can also be used on the hob. I have made a beef stew, a sausage stew and roasted chicken in it so far and very pleased with it. I only paid £39.99 for it at christmas so may be worth shopping around.
