DS age 2 has a little wicker chair that he loves however it is now getting really mucky with bits of weetabix and god knows what else gunked in it Blush any ideas of how to clean? Have tried with dishcloths and hot water but so far it's not getting the gunk out

Swill it around in a bath of hot soapy water. You may then need to scrub the gunky bits.

My first thought was throw it away!

Hmmmm i think it would need lots of soaking to loosen the debris and then uses brush to give it a good scrub.

I know it's so disgusting Hmm he loves the chair though and sits in it quietly doing puzzles. We got it from ikea and don't think I can stand a trip there to get another one!
Will try the bath idea. Thanks Smile

have you got an old toothbrush? you can scrub it with that?

Soak in the bath then take into the garden and hose ion full blast so it goes through the weaving?

Don't have a hose but am sure I can find an old toothbrush somewhere. It's soaking in the bath at the moment. Am having to do this all secretly as DS is not happy at all about having his chair taken away!
