How do you clean wooden work tips? In old house I had granite and used kitchen sprays, regular type of thing. Sometimes anti bac dettol wipes to make sure really clean. How do I clean my new wooden ones?

I use an eco cloth and water, or a method all purpose spray. I also make sure that the danish oil is re-done a couple of times a year, with a light sand and a light re-coat. Mainly never, ever, ever, ever, ever let water stand on it.

Yup, same here. Nothing with bleach, save the cillit bang for the sink/cooker. Anything greasy, just use a strong solution of washing up liquid. Wring out the microfibre cloth, then use it to dry up any standing water.

We oil ours about once a year, maybe twice. Sand at the same time if there are any really noticeable rings/stains, but we're reasonably tolerant of the odd mark here and there.
