Any tips for packing? Help me please

I am mid house move. I have boxes (mostly empty) littered around the house I am drowning in STUFF.

I need to calmly find the easiest way to pack while I have two dc running around.

I am trying to go room by room but I feel so overwhelmed.

I even have a list but its not helping

Please help meeeeee

Sit down. Take a deep breath. Have a cup of tea. Is there a DVD that ypu can plonk dc in front of? It's not going to kill them to watch TV and eat junk if it buys you time to pack.
Have a bin bag with you. Bin things you won't use. How long have you got to pack?

Number all boxes - on all sides.

Have an exercise book - that you keep as close to you as a PFB>

Make a brief note of what is in each box. And how important it is to unpack it (eg Summer Clothes, can all be left0.

Start packing the things you won't need for a while first.

Make sure the boxes are not too heavy - so if you have books don't put them all in one box.

Why not make a game of it with the dc and give them one box and get them to put toys in it? Yku will probably have to tip them out and re-pack it later but the dc might enjoy copying what you are doing.
