Title says it all really.

Its just happened and I have scrubbed with warm water and soap powder.
What will get rid of the smell though?

Tea Tree Oil

you need a biological cleaner. These have enzymes in that digest the bio waste and get rid of it that way. Everything else will only mask the smell.
Pet shops sell a wide variety of bio cleaners (odour removers), or I suppose you could try diluting liquid bio detergent. You have to soak the area and keep it damp for 24 hours, then the smell will be gone for good.

feel for you - we had the smell hanging around for a good few weeks after DS1 puked.
I used soaking with Dettol diluted with water, then when it was dry I used bicarb and hoovered it up. It did hang around though - revolting.
It does go eventually!

Well the soap powder was biological so perhaps that will help a bit.
I'll try the pet shop in the morning - that sounds like a great idea geekgirl

Thanks for such swift replies
