Hi all, I see this topic has been covered already a few years back but I would love any updates/feedback on it again! We live in Spain but are probably relocating to either Bristol or Exeter in Summer. We are both self-employed - DH is a restauranteur Chef and plans to open his own restaurant and I am a Nutritionist. DS will be 5 this year - Bristol schools worry me a bit! - and we want somewhere both buzzy enough to be able to earn a living for ourselves and not be bored but rural enough to enjoy outdoor life.
I initially thought Exeter because of the sea access but Bristol may be better in terms of making money! However, have been researching schools there and they seem like a NIGHTMARE.
Any advice from people who have lived in/know both please?! Thanks!
