Rust marks on laminate - how to remove?

Any tips please? Rust marks left by the bottom of the toilet brush holder thing next to the loo. It looks minging!

Try BarKeeper's Friend and mix some of it into a paste then attack the stain. You might have to try it a couple of times.

Barkeepers Friend is great stuff, but it is an abrasive and may take enough of the surface off to spoil the pattern.

Jenolite Liquid rust remover is an acid, and is available from places like Halfords. Use eye, skin and clothes protection and have warm water handy to wash off any splashes. Don't use other rust treatments as they generally turn it into a hard black material suitable for painting.
