Cleaning up bread dough - how!?!?

I occasionally make pizza dough or bread but HATE clearing up afterwards.

Scrubbing flour and dough bits from the table
Cleaning the bowls from all the sticky dregs

It's a PITA and all the doughy bits clog up the drain guard etc etc

How on earth do I clear up more efficiently? Confused

A wise mumsnetter advised me to use dry flour to rub it off utensils etc. It works and doesn't lead to clogged drains.

Have also heard you need to use cold water to wash the bowls, etc, as hot water actually makes it harder.

knead/mix it all in a bowl, that contains it.
also, do you use oil for the dough? that makes it less sticky.

For utensils and bowls, let the dough dry out, then it just flakes off. Dry flour speeds this up, or leave them somewhere warm (top of radiator etc.)
