Vinyl or tiled floor?

We need to replace a damp carpet in our small downstairs toilet. Not sure whether to go for floor tiles or vinyl? What are the pros & cons of each? I'm guessing tiles more expensive but we're only planning on doing it once and it's a very small area.

Ive got dark tiles in my bathroom but also got 3 boys who miss the toilet! So constantly having to scrub the grout round the toilet!! In my kitchen I've got white wood effect vinyl and I'm constantly on my hands and knees scrubbing that as it gets dirty so easily and it's got little grooves in it that the mop can't get into!
I'd go with the vinyl

Tiles can be very cold, I'd go for a vinyl. Not expensive for a toilet!

Thanks I think I am more drawn to vinyl but dh would prefer tiles!
