Trying to save money I was making Christmas truffles today and didn't check whether the stupid dates had stones. The blade sheared off, and now the plastic part of the blade attachment is just stuck on the spindle,- have tried soaking it in oil.
I am devastated, It is one of my most treasured possessions and I have broken it through carelessness. We have had a dreadful year financially, and by trying to save a few quid I have lost myself at least a hundred!
Does anyone have any idea of anything I could try to get it off? Thanks.
