I am a recent convert to Unfuck Your Habitat, and feel the need of a Grand Christmas Unfuck.

I know there is a MN UFYH thread already going (hello, fellow unfuckers!) But thought I would not be alone in needing to sort my shit out the saturday before christmas.

For those of you new to UFYH, it is like flylady, but less fluffy and blessingy, and more telling you to not be so fucking lazy (oh, and there is an app)

This morning I have Unfucked

One load of washing
Half of the pots

Must try harder

Not done too much this morning, just pottered about generally unfucking stuff. If it looks slightly better each day then that will do me ok.

Beds are made, towels are hung up, kids room doesn't look too bad, laundry on the go, random shite put in the bin, toy farm fixed.

Need to tackle the kitchen shortly, but feeling a bit meh today.

Washing is now out of the dryer and put away, god damn it! Except DH and DS's, they are folded in piles on their beds waiting for them to finish playing Xbox and put their clothes away like a proper grown-up. Sheets in the dryer, and I am feeding baby, while unfucking a metric fuckton of candy crush, and compiling a shopping list for IKEA. All for storage so I can unfuck more important piles of shite keepsakes into their homes.

I have Ikea jealousy :o

I may have taken the love of IKEA too far, I moved to Sweden. After DH deep fries cooks dinner I am going to unfuck the filter in the cooker hood.

Just took DD to the park. Now I need to unfuck the fuckton of sand she tramped into the entrance hall!

Trying to rouse my lazy family to get their arses in gear to get to the library before it closes.

Today's unfuckery

Drag my sorry arse out of bed (must not hibernate!)
Say goodbye to DH who is working abroad this weekend
Laundry (move airer out of conservatory and into bathroom where it is warmer)
Make beds
Both kids fed and dressed
Threaten to Hoover up toys if not put away/bribe with chocolate coins
End up tidying toys myself
Try to leave the house before Carrie and David's popshop starts - failed!

Next to unfuck

Get out of house
Do horses and exercise the children
Get some shopping?
Pop into town? DD wanted a book in tkmaxx
Unfuck the kitchen (why is it so constant?)
Lunch
Back to yard to put horses to bed
Make pizzas for dinner
Eat pizzas and watch a film

Horsrs done, kitchen half unfucked, random lunch currently cooking.

So much still to do, not sure I can be arsed!

I just unfucked a bit of the living room floor where DD nicely started the job by premoistening it with wee. DH made sausages today so I had a monumental job unfucking the kitchen when he finished. They tasted lovely though, and you can't buy a decent sausage in this part of Sweden.

DD demanded I crochet her a hat, so I am starting to unfuck the bag of yarn and crochet hooks. Baby has decided that breastfeeding is best if you open your mouth slightly after every suck, so now I have more laundry to unfuck. And I smell like partly digested milk. Yummy. At least with hubby home I can have a leisurely shower while he looks after DCs while they sleep

I have rearranged our bedroom, now I have made space for a new set of drawers, IKEA here I come

Got to love the fuggy milky smell that smells amazing on babies, but less so on the mummy :o

Today I made Mississippi mud pie and washed as I went along- surely that counts as unfucking the kitchen. Took the kids out for a walk through the forest to the lake, but DD wanted to swim (it's unseasonably warm at about 2 degrees today). I've been crocheting a hat for DD. Tomorrow is IKEA day. I might sneak in a few chairs for the dining table, it's hard to feed the baby while sitting on a backless bench. New curtains, too!

Haven't unfucked the washing today. Must do better tomorrow.

I want to go to ikea!

Done ok at the general unfucking today. Was very good and hung laundry out on airer instead of leaving it to fester in the machine while I went to bed - result!

Tomorrow I am going to try out the new food processor and stick blender (rock and roll) and tackle some 'invisible corners'

Right now though I am going to bed! Very sleepy

Tomorrow I am going to go out for a walk/ slow jog and get out the sewing machine to hem the curtains. I have 6 curtains to hem- it may take a while.

I like sewing, but I am terribly bad at it! Is there anything good on the radio to listen to while you do the curtains, or something on iPlayer? Might help get you through!

Just had breakfast in bed, tea, toadt and a chocolate biscuit :o

Next on the list is get up, get dressed and strip the bed.

After that initial burst of activity, it will be time to get kids dressed, and go to the yard.
