Descaling my steriliser

What is best to do?
Should I put white vinegar in it? Leave it?

Turn it on?

Suggestions gratefully received.

mine came with instructions to use citric acid and add water as usual turn on and rin , wash out and use
Citric acid can be bouth at the chemist

if you can't be bothered to go and buy citric acid, lemon juice works just as well

I used to buy a descaler solution from Boots in little sachets - specifically for bottle ect steam steralisers, it is probably a very expensive way of doing it but I was paranoid about possioning my little ones with residue from any thing not specifically recommended
