I would really like to buy 'nice' pillows. You know the type, ones that are big and fat and fluffy and soft. If you love your pillows tell me what type they are.

Dunlopillo here too....I spoke veeeeery nicely to the salesman when we bought a new bed Grin

ceres · 19/12/2013 06:24

i said they were expensive!

they last and last though so in the long run I reckon they are much better value than cheap pillows.

the first pair I bought are now over 10 years old and still going strong. think they were around 40 quid each at the time.

this is a much better price www.thesleepshop.co.uk/acatalog/Dunlopillo_Super_Comfort_Pillow.html?gclid=CNjW-fPSu7sCFdE92wodNCsA4g

Dunlopillo super comfort here as well! Replaced our first pair after around 10 years and relegated the old ones to our caravan.

Perfect Balance pillows - slightly cheaper at £40.

Feel like hotel pillows and they are still providing excellent support and comfort after 4 years.

DS2 who is 5 keeps trying to steal it and give me his cheap pillow instead!

I have a latex pillow I love, no idea of the brand, but the one people linked to above is similar.

Holds it's shape, comfy, supportive yet soft etc..

Ifcatshadthumbs · 20/12/2013 13:07

I have latex ones that came from John Lewis (I have a had them a shamefully long time) but they have lasted so well.

Lazysuzanne · 20/12/2013 13:32

I bought some goose down super king size pillows from the white company about 6 years ago, I think they were about £80 each.
Still my favourite pillows and seem as good as new.

I just looked on the website and they have pillows going up to £320 Shock damn sure they weren't that expansive when I got mine

MrsDavidBowie · 20/12/2013 13:35

Do not get Tempur pillows.
We got a Tempur mattress (lovely) and as part of the deal he threw in 2 pillows. I think they're about £75

They are like bricks.

If you tried to have a pillow fight with them you would knock the other person out.

Ds now has them....I struggle even putting pillowcases on them.

gobbin · 23/12/2013 18:30

I use a medium-weight wool pillow from Baavet. Superb.

sportyme · 27/12/2013 22:44

Dunlopillo every time. I've had mine for over 7 years, and they are still the same as the first day I bought them. I've got the double comfort ones, but I don't think they make that one anymore. Loads here though.
