Hi you lovely ladies

My washing machine just leaked all over the floor . Turns out there's a small chunk torn off the rim if the grey seal on the machine itself rather than the door

Later found a Kirkby grip inside the fld if the seal .

It's a siemens

On the parts website there's two .........a normal one ...a gasget it's called and a grease- free gasget ?
. HUH ?

Also any experience if replacing these ?????

They are bloody expensive parts ...28 quid. For the first , 77 !!!! For the grease free

Thanks for reading

Ps two kids one on cloth nappies . !!!

can you look up repair companies?
paid 60£ last year to have the seal replaced, that included everything, part + labour.

Ohhhh that's good .

Just like a general washing machine repair man ...??.

yep a bit.
they were recommended by a estate agent who use them for the tennanted houses.
if you look for domex they might operate in your area.

GASKET

You can find how-to-do-it videos on videojug and others.

There are other suppliers of appliance maintenance parts at lower prices but I do not have any to hand.

try here

and

Bosch and Siemens are very similar

but also ask around friends and neighbours for a recommended local repairer. Don't use an 0800 number.
