Tricky experience of Customer Care at Morphy Richards.

Just wanted to warn fellow housekeeping Mn'ers about Morphy Richards customer Care and products.

I have a vacuum cleaner for just 3 years and have had to replace 4 parts of it. Two parts within warranty, but then 2 weeks ago another part went and I had to pay for it to be replaced.

Today another part has gone wrong, thus leaving me without a vacuum cleaner for Christmas and a wasted £30.00 for the part bought 2 weeks ago. I asked for a goodwill gesture from them in the form of a free replacement part, or even a refund on the part bought 2 weeks ago, I was so shocked they wouldn't help me!

Dreadful product, dreadful and unfair response from them.

I have been on twitter and on facebook, the facebook posts keep getting deleted of course.

Which vacuum cleaner brand should I look at when I save up to buy a new one?

I have been browsing their Facebook page as they delete my comments again and again (!) and very surprised to see how many other unhappy customers they have.

There are people there with burnt hands from faulty kettles and people with burning and exploding microwaves.

Looks a once trusted brand is in rapid decline.
