Where can I find coloured elastic for repairs

I am after a light green/yellow elastic to repair a jacket.

I've tried the manufacturer but no joy there.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Where abouts do you live? If you live near Abingdon in Oxfordshire try Masons; otherwise the haberdashery counters of John Lewis might have something.

Ebay or google coloured lingerie elastic.. I've bought from ebay and have used google searches to find other suppliers - I can't recommend any specific shop though as I buy the fancy edged elastic and I'm assuming you just need a plain elastic...

Are you anywhere near liverpool? Abakhan fabrics have, at the moment, bloody great reels of various thicknesses of elastic in obnoxious fluorescent colours. Maybe also in their Manchester/north Wales branches, but I couldn't vouch for it.
