How to remove poo from Seagrass flooring.

Please help!!
We are staying with family who have Seagrass flooring. Doing ds nappy this morning a bit of splodgy poo escaped & made 3 splats. I am absolutely mortified. They are extremely houseproud & will notice any tiny mark. Anyone else I would be honest but I'm hoping to get rid without having to come clean so to speak.
I've used cotton buds to lift it from the grain,it's ridged. I used a bit of a gentle baby wash on cotton buds & then used a disposable mascara wand to try to clean thoroughly. Cotton buds are coming off clean so no poo left. Will it stain? Anything else I can do?

Sounds like you've done a good job already. You may not be able to avoid leaving a small mark, but could it ossibly be explained as something else... splash of coffee???

I've used my hairdryer in case that helped. It seems to have helped. Fingers crossed!

If there's any smell or remaining ickiness you can safely use a white vinegar solution (I've made it with up to 80% vinegar). Just make sure to dry really well with hairdryer afterwards, as seagrass can get mouldy if left wet!
