Argh, DS has obviously been doing Christmas crafts at school as he's come home yesterday and today with gold paint on his sweatshirt, trousers and leather shoes. Please tell me there's some way to get it off!

Also if anyone knows how to remove dry wipe pen, that would be great too.

If the gold paint is aerosol paint white spirit might work, hammerite thinners certainly might.

You can tell I managed to break a gold spray can nozzle and make a huge mess Blush

White bard pen as Egg says absolutely nothing, not white board cleaner or even neat xylene, absolutely nothing shifts it. I have several interesting coloured checked school dresses.

Actually the hammerite thinners may have been bought in the futile war against dry marker pen.

Great, I think I've actually got some white spirit somewhere, will try that. Thanks!

The whiteboard pen is so annoying, it's on the back of DS's sweatshirt so it's not even as though he did it himself.
