How do you get chewing gum out of a sheet?

DP woke up sticky in the night only to discover that a child had left some chewing gum in the bed. It has been slept on, so is thoroughly ground in to the fabric. What do I need to do to get it out?

Roll an ice cube over it to harden it and it should just 'crack' or peel off.

(worked great on daughters dress)

I remember reading something about putting it in a bad and then into the freezer then once frozen you can chip it off

Stick sheet in freezer and then as above

Nail varnish remover does the same as well - becomes hard and brittle and chips off - be careful to check for colour 'fastness' beforehand!!

If the sheet has any significant synthetic content, I'd skip the nail varnish remover!

Rub peanut butter into it. The only thing to succesfully remove chewing gum from hair, so should work on fabric!
