Christmas tip for cleaner?

Hiya this question probably gets asked every year, but should I tip my cleaner and how much should I give her? She's been working for me for 9 months, is very good and has become like a friend. I pay her £20 for 2 hours, once a week.

What do you do? Thanks

I buy mine a present. I know her well by now, so something I'm sure she'll appreciate. Cost around £20.

We normally pop the equivalent to an extra week's payment into a Christnas card.

Mine comes on a Wednesday. I'm planning to give her that payment even though she (obviously) won't be coming.

So etiquette would be to give the amount of one cleaning? Sounds right actually. Thanks everyone for your advice Smile

I give mine £50 plus a box of chocs. That's double her weekly rate, but she's ace.
