Hi,

I just wondered what the minimum age was that you would let your child use a vacuum cleaner.

thanks

I think vacuums are quite heavy with the unwieldy tube has good potential for accidentally damaging something. I think mine were about 8 when they started hoovering.

As soon as they want too Wink

My three year old loves the henry hoover!

I've been conning the DC that using the vacuum cleaner is a treat for years... They love it (particularly DS who is 7, sure it won't last Hmm)

I'm aiming for 50.
One of my most hated chores.

littleblackno · 03/12/2013 21:15

Mine 6 and 8 have been doing it for years as a treat (agree it won't last but making the most of it!) I won't let them do the stairs - although I hate it so they never get done!

DS is three and uses mine - not the full machine but the turbo head on the tube as it's light enough for him to use.

I just MNet supervise and leave him to it!

My 3 year old loves hoovering! I don't get a look in when she's around.
