What have you got to do to get ready to put up your Christmas decorations?

I've already had a big sort-out (thankfully).

We've gone through the big in-built cupboard in the living room that houses the toys that DD2 has no room for in her box-bedroom.

New sofas (much wanted for a couple of years) have arrived and I've shifted all my furniture around to a new setup. Because of the move, everything has been dusted, skirting boards scrubbed, carpet hoovered. :) :)

I have my alcove picked out for the tree and just need to find somewhere for the clothes drier that usually stands in that corner for the rest of they year!

DDs advent calendar has place on the piano top and I have clear windowsills for my cards.

All sorted. :)

Lovely to read that post 2kidsintow

We're having a clear out of toys, seeing which ones we can pass on and having a few weeks with fewer toys around before Christmas day.

Going to clean behind furniture in the living room in readiness for the tree and decorations going up (I don't like the idea of the decorations going up on top of dust).
