White tops Gond grey

I've been given a bag of clothes for my DS but all the white tops are grey. I've soaked them overnight in a bleach solution and put them through the hottest wash on the machine but they are still grey.

Any suggestions, bearing in mind I'm broke?

Thank you

Colour run remover from homebargains.

It shouldn't be more than £2.

You can get Glo White by the same people as colour run, I've found it really good for brightening up manly looking whites

& if you have any in, it might be worth trying to soak them in a bucket with a few sterilising tablets dissolved in water first - I find that can be better than bleach - good for coloured stuff too

Manky looking whites - sod you autocorrect

I find soaking for a good 24 hrs in washing powder with vanish added always brightens whites. Drying on a line in the sun helps too, but that might not be a suitable option!
